It should be noted that the image of the winged lion as the guardian of the throne and power was very popular among the ancient Bactrians. The throne is located between four arches and is surrounded by wooden columns decorated with local precious stones. The back of the throne is decorated with paintings of Ancient Penjikent, Varakhsha, Afrosiab and Bunjikat using precious stones.
