On June 30, a meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan was held under the chairmanship of the Founder of National Peace and Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Head of the Government of the country, Emomali Rahmon.
At the meeting, the reports of the chairman of the Abdurahmoni Jomi district of the Khatlon Province Safarmahmad Rahimzoda “On the implementation of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On local government bodies” and the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On self-government bodies of settlements and villages” were first heard.
It was emphasized that in order to fulfill the instructions of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in the district, the working group on preparation for the 35th anniversary of State Independence regularly holds meetings with the population on the ground.
The program for the socio-economic development of the Abdurahmoni Jomi district for 2021-2025 includes 177 projects, the total amount of which is 226.1 million somoni.
7 state investment projects are being implemented in the district, the amount of which is 5.5 million US dollars.
In the Abdurahmoni Jomi district, in honor of the 30th anniversary of State Independence, it was planned to create and repair 195 facilities, and 203 facilities were put into operation.
The President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, instructed the executive bodies of state power of Khatlon Province and Abdurahmoni Jomi district to strengthen activities to ensure the sustainable development of various sectors of the economy of the region.
The head of state also instructed to eliminate shortcomings, fully and timely implement the revenue side of the budget, reduce tax debt, ensure the targeted use of budget funds, timely payment of wages, pensions and other monetary benefits, efficient and targeted use of land, increase production, and take specific measures for the development of agriculture, industry and thus the creation of jobs.
Then, at the meeting, the Work Plan of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan for the second half of 2022 and the issue of celebrating the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan were discussed.
Members of the Government of the country also after discussing 8 conclusions of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, including on the submission of the conclusion of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to the draft Constitutional Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On amendments and additions to the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the prosecution authorities of the Republic of Tajikistan”, on the submission of the conclusion of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On amendments and additions to the Code of the Republic of Tajikistan on administrative offenses”, on the submission of the conclusion of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On amendments to the Code of the Republic of Tajikistan on administrative offenses” and on the submission of the conclusion of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On amendments and additions to the Procedural Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Tajikistan” were submitted for consideration to the Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Also at the meeting appropriate measures have been taken in connection with the National Strategy for Financial Inclusion of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2022-2026, the results of the state quantitative accounting of land in the administrative territory of the Panj district of the Khatlon Province as of January 1, 2022 and the results of the state quantitative accounting of land in the administrative territory of the Sangvor district as of January 1, 2022.
At the end of the meeting, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, gave specific instructions to the Government of the country, the executive bodies of state power of regions, cities and districts and other state structures on the timely and effective implementation of previous instructions of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the next meeting of the Government, and the expansion of creative work in honor of 35th anniversary of State Independence, harvesting, exporting products, sufficient food procurement, comprehensive preparation for the upcoming winter period, fuel procurement in social facilities and regular supply of electricity and heat to the population.
